2008 National Energy and Utility Affordability Conference
Denver, CO
June 16-18, 2008
NFFN and NLIEC join for our biggest Annual Conference yet!
Please come to Denver on June 16-18, 2008, when the National Fuel Funds Network and National Low Income Energy Consortium convene the first National Energy and Utility Affordability Conference. The conference will be held at the Adam’s Mark Hotel on the 16th Street Pedestrian Mall in downtown Denver. The landmark conference will combine and enhance the annual conferences that NFFN and NLIEC had presented on consecutive days since the mid-1980s. The conference will be the largest single U.S. gathering to address the need for affordable home energy and other utilities for people with low income.

NFFN and NLIEC are expecting some 700 participants representing nonprofit and government agencies, utilities and other institutions who provide utility and fuel bill assistance for families in need, energy efficiency and weatherization services and consumer education. The conference will feature nationally recognized speakers, workshops and hot topics roundtables on a wide variety of issues, exhibits, and other sessions that bolster the practices of energy assistance professionals attending and build national awareness of energy poverty.
The presenting organizations will publish a preliminary program for the National Energy and Utility Affordability Conference in late 2007. It will be available for review at both organizations’ websites: www.nationalfuelfunds.org and www.nliec.org.
Conference registration will open in early 2008.
NFFN and NLIEC welcomes sponsorships of the
National Energy and Utility Affordability Conference.
Sponsorships will enable the partnering organizations to present a unique and valuable educational program, recruit speakers and demonstrate new technology and services. Sponsors receive prominent recognition of their work and services in advancing the field of energy assistance and efficiency. View the fundraising brochure.
